We are adding hundreds of thousands of Shippers to our database to establish potential connection opportunities with Carriers. You will be able to filter the types of Shippers you’d like to connect with by industry, freight types, preferred lanes, annual revenue, and more. Simimarly, Shippers will be able to query for Carriers based on truck types, real-time location-based driver availability, and the Shipper’s own preferred lanes. It’s critical that both Shippers and Carriers add their preferred lanes immediately upon activating their profiles, as this will be one of the top criteria for establishing relevant connections.
It’s important to note that LaneAxis is NOT a load board. As we all know, load boards are dominated by brokered freight – with the brokered margins already sliced off the top. The LaneAxis FreightLINK platform is focused on building direct relationships that lead to Shipper-direct freight opportunities on a daily basis. The faster and deeper you expand your direct Shipper connections, the faster you’ll gain access to more regular, predictable, and profitable shipments.
Absolutely. In fact – while LaneAxis has an expansive and ever-growing database of Shippers – we strongly encourage Carriers to leverage their existing Shipper relationships and connect with them inside the LaneAxis platform. Carriers should be actively pursuing connections with any and every Shipper they currently – or could potentially – do business with.

LaneAxis will offer three tiered options for Carriers. You can join on a month-to-month basis, or sign up for discounted 6 and 12 month subscriptions. Our 12-month plan offers a 50% price discount. You can learn more on our pricing page when you activate your account. To be clear: our goal is to offer maximum value for minimal cost. Recognizing that it will take some time to build out your personal Shipper-direct network, we STRONGLY encourage Carriers to subscribe for the 6 or 12 month packages. Remember, the primary purpose of the FreightLINK platform is to eliminate brokers and the 20-50% margins they consume. So on a $1,000 brokered load – $200 (on the low end) goes into the pockets of the brokers – and only $800 to the Carrier. With LaneAxis, that entire $1,000 is yours (minus 1% transaction fee). That means obtaining just a SINGLE SHIPPER DIRECT LOAD via the LaneAxis system will cover the cost of your subscription fees, regardless of which plan you choose.

Once a Carrier and Shipper have agreed upon and confirmed the shipment rate, the FreightVISION platform and driver app takes over. The FreightVISION App, which is free for drivers to download and use, will drastically simplify freight movements by providing real-time tracking to shippers (and carriers for fleet management), immediate upload of documents such as proof-of-pickup and delivery, load manifest sent straight to the driver’s mobile phone, in-app messaging, in-app navigation with real-time fuel pricing, in-app access to our partner organization, the American Association of Owner Operators (AAOO) and their multitude of benefits, and much more. So you won’t just be making money on direct freight – you’ll also be saving money (and time) in the form of lower overhead costs, such as automated document and freight management, less need for dispatchers, less need for manual data processors, and much more. FreightVISION will cost $5/load, which will generally be paid for by the Shipper. However Carriers are also able to utilize FreightVISION independently for fleet management, which will include the ability to share a tracking link with their shipping customers.

Once Shipper and Carrier agree to the rate confirmation, the Shipper will submit the full payment (the “Load Payment”) via the Payment Gateway Account, powered by leading payment processor “Stripe.” The Load Payment will be held in the Gateway Account during the duration of the shipment. Once the driver uploads the signed Proof-of-Delivery, the Load Payment to the Carrier will be held for an additional 24 hours to allow for any potential disputes and their resolutions. If there are no disputes, LaneAxis guarantees Load Payment (less Shipper and Carrier Transaction Fee of 1% each, and any other applicable fees) will be released directly to the Carrier’s bank account on file. No more factoring! EXCEPTIONS: If a dispute arises that extends beyond the 24-hour post-delivery window, the dispute will be moved offline for continued resolution efforts and, if need be, third party mediation. Upon dispute resolution, payment will be released to Carrier.

While LaneAxis is initially focused on the Over-the-Road (OTR) full truckload segment, the platform can be customized to work with any type of delivery service, including last-mile and courier. We will also be developing additional functionality to accommodate LTL requests.
Our product is certainly focused on trucking, but our freight tracking and management solution is multi-modal in that it covers land, sea, air and rail. This is made possible through tracking Load Manifest ID numbers, RFID chips, GPS, and integration into in-cab hardware such as Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs). Our core product is FreightLINK, which creates a direct connection network for shippers and carriers to do business together – and in the process will generate a tremendous amount of actionable industry data. We will also provide access to our network data, including average loading times at docks, carrier performance history, and much more. LaneAxis will charge a network data access fee to obtain this information. We are covering all the key areas in demand right now: creating a true shipper-to-carrier direct network which eliminates the need for expensive third party brokers, we’re automating the freight tracking and management process, eliminating outdated processes that still dominate the industry such as phoning, faxing and emailing, and we’re filling the need for the new “business gold”: providing relevant, accurate and actionable data.
No one is creating a true freight transportation network. No one. There is plenty of track-and-trace technology out there but no one is coalescing the nearly 4 million independent drivers in the U.S. into a single, unified network. No one is setting up a platform to build trust, transparency and most importantly, direct connectivity between shippers and carriers, eliminating *Billions of dollars in “managed services fees” that eat into the profits of both shippers and drivers. Additionally, we have a valuable patent, a feature-rich app that includes truck-specific navigation, a partnership and in-app access to AAOO (American Association of Owner Operators), future blockchain functionality (with Smart Contract already engineered), and a team that includes trucking and transportation vets including two senior advisors who are former Walmart supply chain executives.
We are planning a gradual, structured rollout of our FreightLlNK and FreightVISION products. We expect all pre-activated Carriers to be able to push the “Go” button on their FreightLlNK accounts by mid-July, early August at the latest. At that point you can start sending and receiving unlimited invitations to and from Shippers to establish direct relationships – and unlimited direct freight opportunities. FreightVISION will be released soon thereafter.
